Hey guys whhaaats happening? Mmm, yeahhh. I am gonna need to go ahead and do this right, cuz that would be just greeeeat! So i am pretty sure that i am onto something here greater than the theory of relatively which has revolutionized scientific progress. Evgeni Malkin hasn’t scored a goal since November 28th … in a little slump and no real reason to start panicking. Rather than starting dirty rumors to trade Malkin i just want to look at things that might potentially help Geno come out this slump and play like MVP that he is. While my memory is still fresh from the previous food related post i think i have hit bullseye here. While our memory is still fresh from playoffs what has helped Geno the most during playoffs? Answer is simple … mama’s home cooking. Here is what ESPN had to say about Malkin’s success during playoffs:
The secret to Evgeni Malkin’s success is out. Soup and beef.
“My parents are superstars now,” Malkin said after scoring the first playoff hat trick of his career in Pittsburgh’s 7-4 win over Carolina on Thursday night. “They’ve helped me in everything. My mom now before game is great cooker. I feel good now.
“I love Russian food, and my mom cooks Russian food. It’s helped me. My favorite food is beef, and before every game I have soup.”
Since Geno is no longer being fed by his mom what is he left with? Party girl Oksana Kondakova who probably couldn’t even boil an egg! Poor Geno! What can you do to help!? Make some great home cooking and send it to Geno’s house so he can score some mad goals!
