Pens Fall To Habs But Geno and Bylsma Are Here To Cheer You Up

Saturday, February 6th, 2010

Pens fall to Montreal CanadiEns 5-3.

Pascal Dupuis (13) and Bill Guerin  (17) both had a goal. Evgeni Malkin (20) with a beautiful goal coming out of penalty box on a break away. Seems like Fluery never fully recovered after the first goal which should have been an interference call. He was pulled after 4th goal against him and Brent Johnson took his place. Crosby reached 300 assists in his NHL career.

Now here is something to cheer you up. Thanks to Evgeni Malkin Girlfriend forums for this one. I found the following images and a funny story behind them showing typical Geno’s funny side. The article is from sovsport.ru and is in Russain but i will translate the funny part. Hope it makes you smile!

Story Behind Pictures – “Geno write, ‘I Love My Coach’ ”

At the end of the interview i asked Malkin to participate in a photo session. At first I wanted to take  a picture of Malkin with Mario Lemieux – who is heart and soul of Pittsburgh Penguins. Even Mellon Arena is located on the street named after Mario.

Super Mario is owner of Pittsburgh Penguins and every so often after games he comes into the locker room. However, its strictly prohibited for media personnel to bother Mario. If Mario gives interview to one reporter than all of them come rushing in after. As a result Mario would forget his role of being quiet and retired millionaire and would turn into a “talking head”.

“Unfortunately, you can’t even take pictures with Mario. We are not going to bother him.” we were told.

To my reporters luck into the locker room walked in Sidney Crosby. He already put on his suit, fixed his blue tie, and styled his hair with gel. He gladly agreed to take a picture with his friend Geno.

“Is it ok if Geno is half a head taller than i am?” – jokingly asked Sidney.

… After that i asked Geno to write “To Vancouver!” on the board with a marker since in a week Olympics are starting.

Geno agreed. While he was busy enthusiastically writing the message, head coach Dan Bylsma walked by. He noticed that someone dared to write something on the board where he usually draws his game plans. “I love coach!” – exclaimed Dan in hopes that is what Geno is writing.

Geno translated, “Dan said that i am GREAT and an awesome Russian guy!”

Geno added a message for fans, “Cheer for us! Lets hope you have a great spirit that we can feed on. In return we will make you happy!”

Caps tomorrow!

Evgeni Malkin’s Hibernation Is Over With The 5th Career Hat Trick

Geno Stretching Before The Game … Thanks Lisa R.

Well if you thought that Geno was back last game against the Canucks where he scored a goal off his skate then you probably haven’t seen Geno play much. We all know he has way more potential to score BIG! Tonight he did just that coming out of his winter hibernation with a 5th career hat trick.

Few minutes before the game started … twitter madness began … and i had an interesting run in with Kristiana B.

It must run in the family! She even had her dog cheering for Geno to get a hat trick. I am not going to mention that i promised to make love to Kristiana if Geno got a hat trick. Putting that on this blog would be completely classless.

Here is video of Malkinator in action …

Other highlights of the game worth mentioning … Sidney Crosby with a MONSTER 6 points this game, 2 goals and 4 assists! Wow! BillyG aka Porn Stache also gets a goal and an assist. 4 Power Play Goals this game … Mike Yeo doesn’t mind not having that much hair anymore as long as Pens keep this up.

This is how its done ladies and gentleman … if this was my fantasy roster i’d be rockin’ tonight!

Kristiana B

Not everything went as smooth as we hoped, Andy Sutton drilled Pascal Dupuis into the boards behind the Islanders net. Dupuis laid there prone on the ice bleeding. Luckily, Dupuis was able to stand up and get off the ice. The crowd give him a well-deserved ovation. Sutton gets a major penalty for boarding and is tossed from the contest. I hope Dupuis is ok.

Massive Johnson was taking care of business while MAF is out with fractured finger.

Lets check up on how our friend Rob Rossi is doing right now …

Evgeni Malkin Is Having A Seizure In The Penalty Box

Friday, January 15th, 2010

Last night was wild … i am sorry for all those folks who went to sleep early! There were girls stripping for goals … wild gangbang orgies … crack cocaine … castration ceremonies … and of course Pens winning in the 3rd period! If ya’ll missed that well then try not to beat yourself up too much.

Apparently after the second period boys in the locker room were lifted by inspirational speech of BillyG.  ”In the room at the second intermission, some guys talked,” forward Pascal Dupuis said. “We stayed positive and there was stuff that needed to be said. We said it in a positive way. We have a guy like Billy Guerin getting up in the room and saying the right things. Guys were following.”

Unfortunately, Evgeni Malkin was not I’M SCOR3 again last night. This marks his longest streak of 11 games without a goal. Its ok Geno we have your back! You know he was really trying to bury one with 7 shots on goal last night. Others behind Geno have at most 3 shots on goal: Crosby, Fedotenko, Guerin, and Letang.

Jordan Staal for the first time in his career had 3 assists in one game. He assisted on all three goals that were scored in the 3rd period by Tyler Kennedy (9), Matt Cooke (9) and Pascal Dupuis (11).

MAF had a big game as well after letting in 2 goals he was solid for the rest of the game. Made some huge saves including a poke check on a Dustin Penner breakaway and fueled Pens comeback.

Some inside scoop has told me that Geno is scoring mad goals on Saturday against Canucks! Can’t wait! LETS GO GENO!

Here is something to keep you hanging till next game … Geno having seizures in the penalty box … that means he is ready to score!!!!

Para Pa Pa Pa I am Lovin’ It

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

Para Pa Pa Pa I am Lovin’ It … no not McDonalds and not even MacDonald … I am loving hockey! Its actually really funny to think that hockey is by far most superior sport in the world. I mean think about this the NHL has dodged steroids, crooked referees, gambling scandals, domestic abuse and thug life. Lets keep hockey clean and we understand that your dad used to play for Penguins in 1970s but still thats not how you win in hockey … fire MacDonald.

What a great hockey game last night for Pittsburgh Penguins! Even though Evgeni Malkin was not I’m Scor3 yesterday amma still love him while he is rockin’ that Penguins jersey. He did look extremely hungry last night … hopefully someone will feed him tonight. He skated well, entered the offensive zone like a boss and took good shots … just needs to bury one.

MAF had his game of the season last night. He stopped basically everything flamingCs had to offer, 37 saves. Our boys were playing pretty tight D as well. Check out this clusterpuck in front of the Penguins net.

Because of MAF performance last night this puckbunny has changed her mind. If in the beginning of the game she was like …

At the end of the game she was like … actually her name is Kristyne De Mott .. but who cares?!

Sidney Crosby (30), Bill Guerin (15) and Tyler Kennedy (8) all scored for Pittsburgh. Crosby has goals in four straight games and hit the 30 goal plateau in just his 47th game of the season. Crosby is on pace for 51 goals and has never scored more than 39 goals in a season. One word … Trade Crosby! :-)

Godard took a pretty bad penalty but made up for it when he dropped gloves with Brian McGrattan

BillyG with the needed game winning PPG that was deflected from Sergei Gonchar’s slap shot. Speaking of Gonchar and his elbow hit on Clutterbuck has made some people upset. While Gonchar is not expected to face discipline over the hit he did share his side of the story. While we are talking about Sarge its worth mentioning that Ray Shero and J.P. Barry, the agent for Sergei Gonchar held their first set of substantive talks Tuesday afternoon in Calgary. While no official offer was tendered to Gonchar but Pittsburgh is now focused on a three year extension. Gonchar is believed to be seeking deals of 3 years – $15 million and 4 years – $20 million. If a true home-town discount was on the table, a deal would have been struck a while ago. Shero is willing to go as high as $4.25 million per season on a three year extension and are willing to go $5 million per season {Gonchar’s current salary} on a two year deal. Meanwhile, regarding Kris Letang, there has been “absolutely” no movement towards a new deal. [http://insidepittsburghsports.com]

This was one of the most complete and confidence-inspiring games in a while. Lets take the momentum from this game and apply it tonight with the back to back game against Edmonton Oilers.

Some notes …

John Curry has been told he will remain with the team until the end of the Penguins road trip. Brent Johnson who is experiencing some technical difficulties with his groin will not be cleared to suit up until next week at the earliest.

Same goes for the candyman, Brooks Orpik, who is hopeful to practice on Friday but won’t be cleared to play at any point during the rest of the road trip.

Luca Caputi will drop his pants and shake up his booty, might also play on the 4th line tonight but is expected to see time on the top two lines.

There has been talk that Ben Lovejoy is getting a strong look to remain with the team. Only problem is there isn’t enough space on the Penguins roster. Ben has 4 goals and 7 assists with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pens this season so far.

Again puck drops at 9:30pm EST … get some coffee!
