Everyone is in love with this new format for how Brendan Shanahan is suspending players. We think it is bizarre. We love the transparency of it, obviously, but transparency doesn't really matter when you're actually making sound decisions. Shanahan has backed himself into a corner with these videos. We can't wait for it to all come crashing down like that time when all of Bayside found out Jessie's middle name was Myrtle. For example, take the latest guest on Shanny's Court, Brad Boyes : At the end Shanny says this: “Going forward, Brad Boyes will now be a repeat offender.” This format should be used nationwide. First #69 ever!

Sunday, September 25th, 2011

You know whats cool? Hockey!

You know what else is cool? Numbers!

You know what else is even cooler? Numbers in hockey!

There are some cool numbers out there like 66 and even 87 and 71 maybe even 29.

Playing with numbers is cool like 71 + 29 is even 100. There is another cool number out there some people might appreciate more than others and that number is 69. Lots of cool things can come from 69 like 66 plus holy trinity … imagine photoshop of Mario ascending from the sky with arms open and below him the holy trinity of double headed monster and then some other 3rd liner like Jordan Staal or maybe even Marc Andre Fleury instead.

Anyway 69 is a cool number. Not too many Pittsburgh Penguins ever wore #69. In fact i could not find any Penguins players who wore that number before. Until this preseason 2011 when Bryan Lerg of WBS wore first ever number #69. He usually wears number 19 however that number was already taken by Jason Williams. So the next coolest number ending with 9 without pissing off Fleury was 69 … well done my friend. This day will go down in Pittsburgh Penguins history as the first #69 ever!

Bryan Lerg #69

Of course after the game 2 of preseason Bryan Lerg was reassigned back to WBS so the celebration did not last for too long.

Lets Go Pens!
