I look around and i see a lot of new hits coming to PensHead.com. We even got our first hate mail! Shut up! This means that a lot of you have been breaking the first two rules of PensHead.com
1st rule of PensHead is we DO NOT talk about the PensHead
2nd rule of PensHead is we DO NOT talk about the PensHead
Our dedicated and loyal reader rosy cheeks Travis S. in his drunken haze writes:
Your a fraud. Now stop the Pens talk and the Grateful dead logo, Your an insult to the Pens hockey and the Grateful dead. Peace out bandwagon groupie!!!!
Fraud and logo fraud deleted from my fb. Pens head is a fraud!!!! using the Pens to make make imself look good. Fail!!!!!

Now please hear me out. Here at PensHead we can handle a lot of things. However, losing friends on Facebook is simply unacceptable to us. As a direct result the board of directors held emergency meeting which took place last night. Today, at the crack of noon i am happy to report that PensHead has formally created Complains and Customer Service Departments which will focus all of their efforts on customer satisfaction. Travis you can sleep well because all of your complains have been properly routed to the Complains Department and actions are being taken as you are reading this to assure your complete satisfaction.
Now that we took care of everyone we can move on to better things.
Some people don’t believe in karma, however, someone smart who apparently got shot, once said … “Instant Karma’s gonna get you” … and well i guess it has in all aspects of life.
Official Pens website reports: “The defending Art Ross and Conn Smythe champion suffered an undisclosed injury after being hit with a shot in Pittsburgh’s 2-1 victory at Tampa Bay Sunday evening. Though the injury could have been more severe, x-ray results showed nothing was broken, and Malkin is being listed as day-to-day by the team. Malkin was hit by a shot from teammate Kris Letang in the second period against the Lightning. He left the game at that time and did not return.”
Its only fair that Letang injuries Malkin … i am not even going to complain about this because i know where complaints end up. I’ll just suck it up and hope to see Geno on ice on St. Patty’s Day. Worth mentioning that Geno did not participate in today’s morning practice.
Versus is back on Direct TV.
With Geno being out HCDB shuffled lined around and it ended up that Poni and Duper were playing with Sid on the first line. Thats the way they might play on Wed against the Devs.
This was a great video about Poni and Antropov. Sosa sola is awesome!
Remember on Jan 2nd when Mike Yeo disappeared from the Penguins Bench for about 2 weeks. Well it was not due to hair transplant operation. Tribute reports the details here. Interesting statistics that Penguins PP% has climbed up to 20.45% at Home and they are currently ranked number 10.

?
That is the question … some discussing here.
There is something more important for Matt Cooke than beating Devs on Wed. I believe it surviving the game on Thursday against the Bruins. Godard who has been out since he was injured against NY Rangers on Jan 25th might not have Cooke’s back or anyone elses for that matter and will not be able to help step up when the hyped up and expected blood shed flows on the ice. Think NHL needs more popularity!? Think about that next time you are buying your game ticket. Here is by far the best argument i have heard on this topic. Was brought up by John Buccigross of ESPN.
Rowan asks:
What would you do if you were commissioner to capitalize on the great hockey exposure that the Olympics has generated? In the past, the NHL has been accused of doing a less than stellar job of keeping up momentum after great exposure (think 1994 after the Rangers or 2002 after Salt Lake City). Is there anything that can be done by the NHL keep the audience/media attention it has newly acquired?
John Replies:
Not really. What do we want NHL commissioner Gary Bettman to do? Buy a few billboards? The NBA didn’t market Michael Jordan; Nike did. The NFL doesn’t market Peyton Manning as much as his agent and advertisers do. ESPN and “SportsCenter” also are an advertising tool. Now, you can argue the choice of television partners is important and part of the overall strategy, but it’s hard to manufacture fan bases.
Commissioners are primarily CBA negotiators, TV rights speculators, and rules and discipline deciders. After that, they control little and can’t dictate tastes. Fans do that.
Athletes and their agents control so much of the sporting landscape. And let’s face it — most hockey players just don’t have that desire to be popular. They understand there are things way more important than that. It is what makes them so appealing to us as hockey fans.
Plus, I don’t know how growing the game benefits us as hockey fans. What are the benefits? More difficulty in buying tickets? More expensive seats? You can get every game on TV for a reasonable price. There are plenty of high-quality hockey Web sites with news and views.
There has never been a better time to be a hockey fan.

“Its only fair that Letang injuries Malkin”
This made me giggle out loud
I got to let you know, you are right on. I came to your post from someone else’s site and am heavily fascinated by this category and finding more info. Do you mind if I post to this website from my mailing list?
Hi I attempted to sign up to your RSS and the link seems to be broken. How can i get around this?
Thanks
Right on! As a girl in junior HS, I totally agree with your take on this. It is almost unreal the things we can learn about our hair, the different hairstyles, especially once we start using all natural hair products.
I was wondering what would be the best …Now I guess I be aware . I’ve got more informations about this piece . I uncover new thoughts here.
