It’s all over.
It seems like forever since the Olympics began just two weeks ago, and yet the experience has flown by at the same time.
Tensions have been high between pens fans lately as our countries battled it out against one another and many are glad it’s over. But, with a disappointing finish for Russia, I think it’s safe to say that there will be some pressure from NHL players on Bettman to allow them to compete again in 2014.
Tomorrow evening Olympic enemies will re-unite as the Guins take the ice against the Buffalo Sabres.
We also have a new addition to the team in Jordan Leopold from the Florida Panthers.
While catching up on some much needed rest I cant help but think about all the amazing times I’ve had. Some of my favorites include..
The opening ceremonies Hockey House party:
Good times with the Torch:
Chills with the Malkins and parties with the Russians:
Snowy days in Whistler:
Switzerland vs. Belarus Shootout win:
Amazing seats to the Norway/Slovakia game:
(Bonsaksen was all up in my grill)
And of course, witnessing both of our Canadian hockey teams win Gold (thanks bing):
All class!!… get over it IOC
Thank you to everyone who have made my Olympic experiences unforgettable.
It feels good to say this again….. “LETS GO PENS!!!!!”
