Twas The Night Before Olympics (Photo Blog)

February 12th, 2010 by ShutYour5Hole

The Athletes are ready.

The City is bustling.

The Protesters are lined up to crash the party.

The Olympics are here.

I spent my morning following the torch. I had the honor of getting to hold it high, and on my way around the city I also met two of Switzerland’s Women’s Hockey players Anja Stiefel and Katrin Nabholz. Vancity is an absolutely thrilling place to be right now. It’s a pretty amazing sight to see all the fans, you and old, gathering the roadsides in support of the event, and team Canada of course..

Then the parade began..

Here is the route for the final portion of the relay tomorrow:

The opening ceremonies  are fast approaching and the city is ready and waiting..

What else is left to say but; LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

the Pens fans obviously need to step up their adoration for the black and gold after seeing this. You are just the man to rally the women of Pen’s nation to do better. It’s almost the playoffs ….
