First things first if you dont know what Foley’s Pub is and the way it relates to Pittsburgh Penguins well then … i am sorry ya’ll. Second interesting fact for some metal heads out there is band called Soilwork. Great band and if you haven’t heard their latest album well then you probably haven’t their song called The Pittsburgh Syndrome. Some interesting fact i found while looking up song meaning was posted by MrMcSick:
“The last time they were here in Pittsburgh was maybe 06-07, they came with Mnemic. Played at the Rex theatre and was an awesome show! This was right before this cd came out so I guess they wrote it after this. After the last song they told everybody to hang around cause they wanted us to wait for them so we could take them out for some nightlife!!! Sweet. About 20 or so of us hung around and took them to the local metal bar up the road. Good times were had by all. Does your favorite band ever do this? I didn’t think so!”
