Great success! Penguins win and Flyers lose both ends of a home and home with Pittsburgh for the first time in 17 years. Yes yes yes we know “Crosby Sucks!” Thanks to MouthFullOfTang for pointing this out and Christina Aguilera for singing it. “Crosby Sucks” chat has the following effect on Sid:

Sid and Tanger win it for the Pens in the shootout. Flyers got ZERO shots on goal in shootout. What a shame! There were 3 Cryers fans present at Foleys. They got a nice “Go Home Flyers” chant and here are their stunned pictures. To preserve their identity we had to smudge out the picture but nevertheless enjoy this. The guy standing up actually died his hair orange or something … FAIL.

Maxime Talbot’s Black Cocks?! There were a nice Pittsburgh Penguins reporter present at Foley’s last night and with her permission i will share this funny Maxime Talbot story.
Here is MouthFullofTang’s sober recollection of the story:
“First, a little background info, as I have to properly set the scene for Max’s “Black Cocks” outburst. For those of you who don’t know, Max’s locker stall in next to Sid’s. As you may have seen in some past post-game interviews posted on the Pens website, sometimes it is nearly impossible for Max to get to his locker area after the games due to the intense magnetic attraction the media tends to have towards Sid.
On this one particular day, our friend the reporter was intent on asking Max to talk about a specific goal he scored earlier that week. The goal in question had come against the Blackhawks, when the Pens had been stuck in a rut, Max scored a goal, and jump started the team on a lengthy winning streak. Anyway, the reporter waited patiently for Max by his locker after the game, and he was surprised to find someone waiting for him outside the cutthroat conglomerate of vultures next to his Captain’s stall. As he was gathering some of his things, he asked her what she wanted. She replied, “I wanted to talk to you about your goal against the Blackhawks.” Forever the jokester, Max looks at her and incredulously asks, “What? You want to talk to me about black cocks?” He then turns to the room and calls out, “Hey everyone! She just asked me what I think about black cocks! Did you hear that? Black cocks! Black cocks!!”
Before I continue with the story, please take a minute to picture Maxime Talbot- Superstar, French-Canadian Dream, Womanizer- turning to his locker room, and shouting about black cocks.
Ok, so Max eventually calmed down enough to speak with the reporter about Blackhawks, and give his take on what happened with that goal. His recollection went something like this, “So I was mucking it up in the corners of the defensive zone, working hard for the puck, and I finally got it, and skated hard up the right side, practically flying through the neutral zone, only to have to deke one of their defensemen, and dangle around the other one. Once it was just me and the goalie, I let this wicked wrister go, right through his 5 hole.”
Suddenly, the reporter hears Sid start to laugh his irrepressible, child-like giggle, and he says to Max, “Now why don’t you go ahead and tell her how it really happened?” Max looks dejected for a second, before smiling and fessing up, “Ok, well, I was really trying to pass it cross ice to my teammate, but it hit off the back of one of the defenseman’s skate and went into the net.“
Eh, a goal is a goal.“
