Sorry, I can’t open your link, but if you read Russian Fairy Tales or watch couple Russian kid’s movies- you will see Snegurochka is the granddauter of Father Frost.

Russian Culture Monday: Snegurochka
http://goeasteurope.about.com/b/2009/11/16/russian-culture-snegurochka.htm
Ded Moroz, the Russian Santa, doesn’t have elves to help him deliver gifts to children for the holidays. Instead, he enlists his granddaughter, Snegurochka, the Snow Maiden, to help him during his busy season. In Russian culture, Snegurochka is both the granddaughter of Ded Moroz and a character out of a Russian fairy tale. She, and other females associated with winter legend, often appear on holiday cards as well as on Russian handcrafted boxes and dolls.
Yana thanks for your awesome investigative work! I am well aware she is his granddaughter but whats fun in that!? Here http://is.gd/5q9EH Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours as well!
