Due to lack of exciting material out there i am forced to rechew and gnaw on some old bones. So whats the most exciting recent news for our Pens? Its difficult to pinpoint but i am going to try and take a stab at few ideas flying around.
Of course the recent exciting Sidney Crosby hat trick against the NY Rangers on a free hat night? Being that it is an old news it gets only 2 out of 5 stars here. Thanks GhostWalker40 for the videos.
Could it be the Mike Rupp’s hat trick against the NY Rangers on his son’s birthday? Surely exciting to beat your own season record for the goals scored not even half way through the season but still not exciting enough to get the top raiting here. 3 out of 5 stars.
Could it be the Pascal Dupuis’ day with the Staney Cup video? I’ve seen more excitement out of watching my grandpa try to get Windows to work on his computer. Sorry Pascal i know you are tied for the 3rd place in goals for the Pens but you are still not that hot. 2 out of 5 stars here. I highly recommend you trim some of your facial hair and donate them to Mike Yeo foundation.
Could it be this awesome snap of Billy G after scoring on Avalanche last night? Its very possible but not probable. We all love Billy but scoring a goal in NHL unless your name is Chris Bourque is not reason enough to be called most exciting news. Billy you get 3 out of 5 stars for trying. Very proud of you Papi!
Speaking of Chris Bourque and exciting news! Bourque was placed on waivers this afternoon at 12:00 p.m! With Cooke coming back on Saturday there is no real reason to keep Bourque around, who failed to establish himself as a consistent contributor, recording three assists and a plus/minus rating of -4. Don’t worry your daddy still loves you! 4 out of 5 stars. You dont even deserve a bigger picture now that even Craps probably won’t want you back.
So what is the most exciting news for the Pens? Well … you know the team sucks when you come to their NHL site and the first thing you get is annoying ad to buy tickets. Don’t remember ever seeing that for Penguins. Thats because Penguins don’t have a problem selling tickets and also thats because we don’t have Judas Marian Hossa and 20 cents Patrick Kane. So the most exciting news for the Pens is tomorrows game against Chicago Blackhawks. Well maybe Chicago doesn’t suck and maybe they don’t even have problem selling tickets. They are leading the Central division with 37 points, 2nd in the Western Conference and trailing right behind Penguins in the League. Nevertheless this should be a very exciting game to watch and therefore i give this 5 out of 5 stars. Hossa i just got 3 pictures for you …

Big game tomorrow… Just read an interview on Sporting News Today. Kane said “I hope we win more championships than them”, referring to the Pens. The balls on this kid. Win ONE championship, then talk about winning multiple championships. Hope we stump on them tomorrow. Let’s Go Pens!
