NY Sucks! Rangers not Aquarium!

Saturday, November 28th, 2009

Subway fare for F train to West 8th St = $2.25

General Admission to NY Aquarium = $13.00

Seeing Penguins Feeding and seeing NY Rangers get slaughtered 8-3 = PRICELESS!

Sid The Kid with second hat trick this season again priceless! But in all reality seeing Avery flip out on Ruslan Fedotenko and attack him from the back for no good reason is classless! Right after i saw Tenk talking to Godard … could mean only one thing … payback time on Monday. Looking forward to more Rangers butt kicking in 2 days! My prediction get ready for a bloodbath. Lets Go Pens!!!

For now enjoy the Penguins Feeding set to a song by “The Pop Rock” kids!

Evgeni Malkin With His Buddies And Lord Stanley!

Gera “George” Birman … Geno’s number one Jewish friend … A New Big Star!

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

Gera "George" Birman with Stanley Cup Ring

Who is George Birman!? George Birman is THE MAN! While he might be less known to all the Pittsburgh Penguins fans he has been working with the organization for 10 years now as a front office employee. He is from Ukraine the homeland of Ruslan Fedotenko. He is married and has a son. Besides being an awesome Russian Jew, in 2006 George had his big break when Geno arrived. Gregory or Gera as Russians would call him became official English interpreter for Evgeni Malkin. However, Gera’s star-hood doesn’t end with just being an interpreter. Tomorrow morning (Tuesday Nov. 24th) at 8:30am he will get his bigger break with hosting “NHL in Russain” show airing on Penguins HD radio. This is going to be an awesome show! I am so very excited! Evgeni Malking is going to be there! Igor Larionov is going to be there with his daughter Alyonka! And of course, Birman is going to host the show joined by Oleg Mejeritski of Sovietsky Sport.

The show is going to be in Russian but just to let you all know how awesome i am. By you all i mean people that don’t speak Russian. Tomorrow, while on my vacation, i am going to try to wake up early to record the “NHL in Russian” show, translate it and post it here. Yes you are very welcome.

Adopt a Penguin! Who Dat?

Saturday, November 21st, 2009

So you love the Penguins? I do, and not just Pittsburgh Penguins, but cute little fellas you see in your local zoos and aquariums. My favorite type of penguin is the Emperor Penguin. If you haven’t seen The March Of The Penguins movie then your life is incomplete. If you have seen it then you might remember that Emperor Penguins are monogamous. Precisely for that reason they are my favorite. Emperor Penguins are monogamous, though not in the way that humans consider monogamy. They have only one mate each year, and keep faithfully to that one other penguin, but each year, they choose different mates. What?! Thats good enough for Animal Kingdom! Anyway, go see the movie if you haven’t and if you have go see it again.

Philadelphia Flyers Suck! We need your help!

Thursday, November 19th, 2009

It has been 12583 days since Philadelphia Flyers won Stanley Cup.  Why? Because they suck! Their hockey reminds me of a worthless clown show. Crappiest team in the NHL hands down. They are a big disgrace to NHL. Lousiest fan base in the NHL, no doubt. They would rather put down other teams than cheer on their own team. Why? Because they are obnoxious and don’t really know anything about hockey. We always hear about violent outbursts after and/or during games in Philly. You take a bunch of idiots, put them together in an area, add alcohol to the equation, they are bound to stab each other. Haha, yeah stay classy Philly. /barf

Its time all of the NHL teams unite and strike back at Flyers!

Is this a good time to trade Sidney Crosby?

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

I couldn’t resist posting this … i know i have nothing to do with it but people’s stupidity just overwhelms me sometimes. If you want to read the whole article please go to post-gazette.com. With all due respect, and i said with all due respect, George you are a freaking retard and should be castrated so that you can’t procreate.

Question: Wouldn’t it be better to trade Sidney Crosby now for a couple of prospects and get some quality picks for him while he’s so overrated before the rest of the hockey world realizes he’s a bust?

George, Carbondale, Pa.

MOLINARI: Absolutely.

If Ray Shero is half the general manager some of us believe him to be, he ought to be working feverishly to foist Crosby off on some unsuspecting rival. With luck, maybe he’ll even manage to steal a couple of conditional fifth-round draft choices in the deal.

Clearly, for a guy who’s already reached the advanced age of 22, Crosby really has accomplished very little at this level. Once you get beyond that league scoring championship and MVP award he’s won, along with that minor footnote about being the youngest captain ever to lead a team to a Stanley Cup, what has the guy achieved?

It’s a pretty skimpy resume, to be sure. Makes you wonder why, in a poll of general managers conducted by TSN, the Canadian TV network, last season, Crosby was their choice as the player around whom they would want to build a franchise. Then again, what would GMs know about a hockey player’s talent and value?

Seriously, if people want to debate whether Crosby or Malkin (or Alex Ovechkin or Henrik Zetterberg or whoever) is the better player, that’s fine. Anyone outside of Crosby’s immediate family who believes he is a no-brainer choice for that distinction simply isn’t giving the other world-class talents in the NHL the respect they deserve.

But to characterize Crosby as a bust is beyond asinine, and gives the concept of being clueless a bad name.

LETS GO PENS!

Defense!? We don’t need no stinky Defense!

Jay McKee

Latest and greatest news is in. Possibly some black magic and foul play is at hand here. It comes as no real surprise anymore, Jay McKee, is out 2-4 weeks with infected finger. Not really sure what Jay McKee needs his finger for to block shots but whatever. Who is left?

Sergei Gonchar is out.

Brooks Orpik is out.

Kris Letang is out.

Mark Eaton is the only man standing! Its true that our AHL boys have been doing pretty well backing up Pens during these tough time. However, who really needs defense!? We have so much scoring power with Sid and Geno we can outscore any and all the mistakes we make defensively. As Geno would have said: “Score Everybody!”

Bill Guerin is on the roll!

Matt Cooke is on the roll!

WHAT THE HELL!? Even Pascal Dupuis is on the roll!

Defense?! We don’t need no stinky defense! Lets Go Pens!

Update: From NHL Live Radio, Sergei Gonchar may, just may, play on Thursday. If not watch out for another recall from WBS.

On a more serious note, first lucky girl i see wearing a pair of these gets to buy me a drink on a date! Stack up!

NHL in Russian, Sid to carry Olympic Torch, Taylor or Tyler?

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

Yesterday, Pittsburgh Penguins have announced a new 30 minute show called “NHL in Russian” that will air every Tuesday morning on the new HD radio. Best or perhaps worst part of the show is that it is indeed going to be aired in Russian. So if you don’t speak it you will be missing out. “NHL in Russian” will debut on Tuesday, Nov. 24. Special guests on the inaugural show will be 2009 NHL scoring champion Evgeni Malkin and Russian hockey legend Igor Larionov, father of sexy Alyonka. Don’t worry i have already called in a requested that Mama Malkin, Natalia joins the show one day to give us her secret borscht of champions recipe.
