Look at this cute face of innocence. As you might know this is Ruslan Fedotenko our beloved Ukranian forward. However, don’t let his innocent face fool the beast that hides behind it. Ruslan Fedotenko is first Ukranian to win Stanley Cup! Now he actually has done it twice! Thanks to some Ukranian newspaper i was able to find some awesome young pictures of him check them out below, FREE OF CHARGE! Amazing!
Ruslan left Ukrain when he was 16 years old. He was studying in a special school for talented kids that play hockey. After he left Ukrain he moved to Finland then to Canada. He has 2 brothers that also play hockey and look up to Ruslan. Since he moved away from his homeland at such a young age he says that it became hard for him to speak Russian or Ukranian now. He doesn’t have that many people to talk to in Russian and considers himself completely Americanized. When giving interviews in Russain its not uncommon for him to forget some Russian words. (I know how you feel buddy.)
He is married to wife Debbie who has 3 kids from a previous marriage. They all play hockey, forward position. Debbie says she is proud of having changed her last name to Fedotenko when they got married. One time he said to a Russian reporter, who was actually very impressed by how much respect Ruslan had showed him, “Before starting a new romance i always finish my old one.”
His first NHL goal Ruslan scored against Dominik Hasek. First Stanley Cup he won with Tampa Bay Lighting. He actually scored 2 goals including game winning goal in game 7. He says his favorite sport after hockey is golf.
Here are some more pictures of Ruslan.
I AM ON THE BOAT.

Ohh yeah almost forgot … Penguins were playing against the smelly NJ Devils today. Best parts of the game include Gogo scoring a goal with his mustache and Geno giving royal spanking Martin Brodeur. Brodeur just missed tying Hall of Famer Terry Sawchuk’s all-time shutout total of 103. Sorry Marty not on our ice!
I was kind of upset at the end of the game when i saw tons of people leaving the game before it was over … so for all the fair weather fans out there … let this guy below remind you what it means to be a true Penguin fan! You can’t just cheer for the Penguins you have to become one! Work on it or move to Philly.
